Markings of the tubes and tube bundles

(a) The tubes with outside diameter up to 51 mm may be marked by a label attached to the tube bundle,
(b) Larger tubes must, at least, have markings at one end of the tube with the necessary data - producer name , standard, steel grade, test category, heat no, inspector's mark, identification number. Additional marking upon agreement.

Packaging of seamless boiler tubes

The tubes are supplied in packages with a circular or hexagonal outline with having weight of 300 – 3 500 kg.

Straightness of boiler tubes

Allowed straightness is 0.0015 multiple of the tube length, for 1 meter length the allowed straightness is 3 millimeters.

Condition of delivery and surface of boiler tubes

Condition of the tubes meets the requirements of the appropriate standards, i.e. the tubes go through normalized forming or after cold forming goes through normalized annealing. The tube surface meets the standards’ requirements and the means of manufacturing.

Seamless boiler tubes surface protection

While ordering, it is necessary to agree upon the method and means of temporarily protecting the surface of the tubes during transportation and storage.
